Will my Christmas tree lose its needles?
The risk of needle loss mainly depends on the type of tree you choose. If you opt for a Nordmann, it is a variety known for retaining its needles longer, even in a dry indoor environment. Its needles are softer and have better durability. However, if you choose a Spruce, it is more traditional, but tends to lose its needles more quickly, especially if it is not well hydrated.
Choose a fresh tree: Opt for a local producer, like the one in Belgium, to ensure freshness. Avoid heat sources: Place it away from radiators or fireplaces, as heat accelerates dehydration and needle drop.
What should I do if my Christmas tree arrives damaged?
It can happen that transportation damages the tree, although this is quite rare. You then have the option to send a complaint via email on the same day, attaching photos.
